Review: The Selection

The Selection The Selection by Kiera Cass
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

I'm kinda disappointed, this was such a drag. It started pretty good, but by the end I couldn't care less. It's like, as the book progressed, the MFC gave in to what she was against, her entire life! Rather than focusing on dismantling the system, she became a part of it and it was ironically romanticized. The realization of the miscommunication between America and Aspen was insufferable, and I feel it was unnecessary to drag him into her life again. And the Prince kissing a random girl right after sharing an intimate moment with her? And her kissing Aspen at the same time when she had begun to develop a romantic liking toward the Prince? Not looking forward to reading the next parts, guess I might someday but I don't expect the day to arrive any soon.
