Review: The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

HOLY SHIT THIS WAS SOMETHING. This is a book I loved ENTIRELY and everything about it.

Firstly, I've never read a more well-written book ever. Keeping the plot and storyline aside, the number of times I had to admire the articulate vocabulary was a massive good lot. I'm in LOVE with the author's writing style and half of the time I kept wishing I could be so capable to put out something like this on paper.

(MINOR SPOILER AHEAD; DECIDE ON WHETHER IT MIGHT BOTHER YOU AND ONLY THEN PROCEED)

And then the plot HELLO???? The unpredictability kept me hooked and clinging. The initially painted rival image of Celia St. James was chef's kiss for the later revealed truth. I recall screaming at the line when Evelyn stated that was when she started to take a liking to Celia St. James.

I could write pages for this review, I LOVE this book so much. I'm still trying to process everything I've just finished reading. I really am looking forward to more Taylor Jenkin Reids books as this one has my standards soaring up.
